A body positive wax studio in
NE Portland
Specializing in providing a safe environment for everyone, with a focus on supporting those in the
plus-size and neurodivergent communities.
Waxing for every body. And I do mean EVERY body
Plenty of salons advertise being body positive. But it’s one thing to say it and another to do it. Dahlia Wax Bar is a space where all bodies are welcome. We offer waxing from head to toe, and understand that getting a wax is an intimate and vulnerable experience. You deserve to feel safe, and your body cared for. When you step into the space your needs come first. My products are high quality and safe for sensitive skin types. My hope is that all of my clients know that their bodies are amazing and I am honored to serve them.

“... The most comfortable technique, great products, and incredible flawless results all in a super cute space with a warm and lovely provider who will make you feel comfortable no matter what anxiety you're coming in with. If you want a perfect wax in a comfortable environment that celebrates body positivity and somehow makes the experience-- dare I say-- fun, then look no further.”

“Okay, but how cute is this studio?? Forget the clinical beige experience! My first time with a Brazilian and she made it actually fun! I felt safe in my size, my inexperience and my first-time customer anxiety. Worth every penny and didn't hurt anywhere nearly what I was told to expect. I had to book my next appointment right then because once this lady's reputation gets out, she might be hard to book!”

Your Emotional Support Waxer
As a neuro-spicy single mom in my mid-30’s, I was initially hesitant to enter the world of esthetics. However, as soon as I started waxing, I found a community of women and men (and everyone in between) who appreciated my authenticity and felt comfortable with me. It's been a joy to provide a safe and welcoming space for those who may have felt excluded from traditional esthetic services. I am passionate about what I do and grateful for the wonderful people I get to meet every day.
