Dahlia Wax Bar is expanding, and we’re looking for a compassionate and skilled Esthetician to join our team! As we transition from a solo practice to a full salon, we remain committed to providing an inclusive, accessible, and safe space for all bodies to experience self-care. Our focus is on creating a welcoming environment for plus-size clients, neurodivergent individuals, and anyone seeking a judgment-free experience.

Currently we are looking for someone to do relaxation-focused facials and body treatments, with the possibility of growing to offer more services down the road.

What We’re Looking For:

We’re seeking an esthetician who:

  • Shares our mission of creating a welcoming, safe space for all clients, particularly those in larger bodies.

  • Demonstrates patience, kindness, and acceptance with every client.

  • Understands the importance of taking time to address individual needs and concerns with care and professionalism.

  • Is passionate about providing relaxing, non-corrective facials and body facial services, with a focus on client comfort and well-being.

  • Is willing to collaborate on designing a facial and body facial service menu tailored to our clientele.

Position Details:

  • Start Date: Tentative, April 2025 (exact date to be determined).

  • Employment Type: 1099 Independent Contractor.

  • Compensation: 50/50 commission split.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality facial and body facial services that prioritize relaxation over corrective treatments.

  • Collaborate with the owner to create a service menu that reflects Dahlia Wax Bar’s values and client needs.

  • Maintain a clean, sanitary, and calming environment for clients.

  • Uphold Dahlia Wax Bar’s mission to create an inclusive, body-positive space.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Licensed esthetician in Oregon.

  • Experience working with diverse body types and/or neurodivergent clients is a plus.

  • Strong communication skills and a genuine commitment to client comfort and satisfaction.
